Fair Trade Mpingo Wood Nativity Scene

Remnant Mpingo wood is carefully hand carved from shards of downed trees to create this minimalist nativity scene, with a piece of carved bone representing the baby Jesus.

Imported into the US by a Fair Trade Federation member organization, funds raised from selling this sculpture supports a variety of community programs such as clean water, education, and women's empowerment in the artists' community.

Carving measures 8.5" tall by 1.5" wide and 1" deep and weighs 5 ounces.
