Flip Flop Fair Trade Elephant
Beach garbage, re-imagined and reborn.
The beaches of Eastern Kenya are covered with trash washed up from containers of merchandise that have fallen into the Indian Ocean as well as garbage improperly disposed of from all over Eastern Africa. This company specializes in collecting flip flops, which tend to float ashore in huge numbers, and creating incredible works of art from them.
No two are ever even remotely similar in color, but sizing is generally the same. The elephant currently in stock has his trunk up, interpreted as a sign of good luck in many cultures.
Elephant measures approximately 10" from nose to tail, 6" tall and 4" wide and weighs 8 ounces.
