Incised Brass Doves Pattern Hamsa
The hamsa may very well be the first truly multicultural symbol, used throughout the Mediterranean basin by Jews, Muslims and Christians for centuries as a sign of good luck and to bless a home and it's inhabitants. The raised eye pattern at the center traditionally wards off the evil eye.
An elegant pattern of green leaves surrounding two doves centered around a heart with stylized flowers above and below is carefully incised into brass, then hand painted.
Hamsa measures 5" long (including dangle) by 2.75" wide and comes with a brass ring for hanging.
