Island Hopping 1000 Pc Puzzle

Fun, functional art with a purpose.

This 1000 piece puzzle is created through a collaboration between a young Black woman in Brooklyn, NYC and a Louisiana based Filipino-American painter, Marianne Angeli Rodriguez.

Marianne is a self taught abstract contemporary painter. She spent 15 years living abroad in West Africa, Central America, Europe and Asia before landing in the US. Her bright, textural work draws on the global influences of her travels to create warm, vibrant and richly symbolic paintings.

Not just a cool puzzle, each sale supports both a rising artist and a micro-company getting started in a very complicated retail environment - which is why for the first time in many years, I've broken my "not made in China" rule.

Mandi had a contract with a US puzzle manufacturer signed but when covid hit she was too small to get production from them and was forced to move production, for now, to China. Her goal is to move production to the US within the next 2 years.

Measures 24" square when complete. Difficulty level - Intermediate

Made of recycled chipboard and non-toxic inks. Printed in China.
