Lao Tzu "Stillness" Square Sterling Silver Necklace

This sterling silver pendant is inscribed with the wisdom of Lao Tzu; "Stillness is the greatest revelation" in English and with the orginal Chinese characters on opposite sides. Either side may be worn facing out.

Lao-Tzu, a Chinese philospher and mystic, lived during the 5th century BCE. He is said to be the founder of Taoism and is believed to have been the curator of the imperial library at Honan. The famous text, Tao Te Ching, is the only record of his teachings. His name means "old Master".

The pendant measures 7/8" long and is suspended on an 18" sterling silver link chain.
