Large Serenity Prayer Sterling Silver Cuff

Inscribed discreetly on the interior, "God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference." A traditional Meditation labyrinth pattern is inscribed on the exterior.

This humble quote has given comfort to many in need of guidance.

The authorship of these words is much disputed, though it is generally accredited to the American theologian Dr. Reinhold Niebuhr and was perhaps written in the 1930's. However, there is no shortage of other claimants from ancient Roman Cicero, anonymous medieval English poets, saints, Sanskrit texts, or German philosopher Friedrich Octinger in the 18th century.

The wide range of claims to ownership merely reinforces the universality of it's message.

Polished sterling silver cuff measures 7.5" in length and 5/8" in width and is sized for a larger wrist.
