Recycled Pink Wire Bicycle
Handmade by at risk teenagers in a community program in Kisumu City in Kenya, these bikes are made out of waste that would otherwise sit in a landfill, and help to inspire teenagers on to improve themselves and their world.
Made from wire, bits of tin, and acrylic paint, with wheels that turn and pivot and a kickstand for easy display, these are the perfect gift for the environmentally conscious biker in your life.
Imported into the US by a Fair Trade Federation member organization, funds raised from selling this product support a variety of community programs through Jarida Crafts such as drug counseling, safer sex education, micro business, and women's empowerment.
Bike measures approximately 7" long, 2" wide, and 4.5" tall. Please note that size and exact design will vary from piece to piece because of the handmade nature of the work.
