Small Article 22 Peace Bomb Aluminum Bangle Bracelet
Made of reclaimed aluminum from the approximately 2.5 million tons of bombs dropped by the US Air Force during the secret war on Laos from 1964 to 1973, funds from purchasing these bracelets allows Laotian villagers to continue clearing of cluster munitions that still blanket much of the countryside.
Each bangle is inscribed with "NY <heart> PEACE" on the exterior, "ARTICLE 22 - PEACE BOMB" and "DROPPED & MADE IN LAOS" on the interior. Article 22 is the UN Declaration of Human Rights. The Peace Bomb project is based in Brooklyn, NY.
The bangle measures 2.25" in internal diameter (measured from the interior on one side to the opposite side).
