Handmade Natural Broom

Sometimes old school is the ONLY way to go.

Handmade by a master artisan from Kentucky, one of the few remaining broom makers in New England, these are literally functional works of art. Using machinery that is over 100 years old and centuries old hand weaving techniques, these traditional brooms are made of soft broom corn, which is a type of sorghum and has a superb ability to lift dust, dirt and sand out of any crevice with a light stroke. The handle is sustainably harvested, Kentucky grown American Poplar.

Measures 58" long by 10" wide at the sweep, woven with durable color cording and stainless steel wire, with integrated leather loop on the solid ash for display/storage. For best long term use, dip the edge into water briefly and then hang to dry every 6 months. Store in a cool, dry place and avoid leaving in a routinely wet area such as a porch. A well maintained broom can last decades or more.
