One of a Kind Blue Druzy Sterling Siver Earrings

Slices of an extraordinary electric blue druzy are set within a constructed sterling silver setting designed to frame and highlight this one of a kind stone. 

A chunk of broken sterling silver is set above each druzy, with the unique texture of this specially created silver the perfect contrast to the druzy resting below. Broken sterling is sterling silver that is first heated then rapidly cooled and hammered, shattering the metal like glass to create unique textures not normally ever encountered with sterling silver. The maker is a trained metalsmith who has studied blacksmithing. This classic metalworking technique is rarely encountered in jewelry making. 

The ear wires are carefully engineered within the earring so that they swing beautifully while still keeping securely fastened to the earring itself. 

Earrings measure 2" in length plus ear wire, 3/8" wide at the widest point.
