Palladium 500 Kintsugi Ring with 24K Gold

$4,039.00

Ancient and Modern.

Kintsugi is the ancient Japanese art of reassembling broken pottery with a lacquer combined with powdered gold to create a beautiful, new ceramic piece that is more beautiful than it was originally. This ring is created using palladium 500 with veins of 24K gold running through and across the entire ring in a beautiful expression of this art.

With a slightly curved profile and smooth finish, this 6mm wide band is in stock in a size 8 but can be ordered in any size and customized any way you like.

This ring is designed and created by Chris Ploof, a native Massachusetts jewelry maker whose work is world famous, with a focus on mokume gane, Damascus steel, and combinations of metals with ancient and modern techniques to create uniquely special and timeless pieces. He and his wife have been vacationing in Provincetown for many years and we are proud to represent Chris exclusively on the Outer Cape.
