Gloss White Milk Vases

An updated classic!

The classic 19th Century porcelain milk jug has been re-imagined and modernized into this simple, functional slip cast glossy white porcelain vase/pitcher/holder, elegantly finished with a wash of glossy color across the body.

The generous proportions of these pieces will easily hold a double handful of fresh cut wildflowers or a generous bundle of store bought flowers. A perfect kitchen accessory that will fit into even the most sophisticated of households while not forgetting it's country roots, while simultaneously also eerily reminiscent of bouys. Microwave and dishwasher safe, they also make amazing pitchers, mugs and teacups.

The large is perfect for a pitcher of margaritas or kitchen utensils and holds 4 cups of liquid, the medium perfectly holds two martinis, a brace of soup spoons  or toothbrushes and toothpaste, 2 cups of liquid, and the small is perfect for a cuppa or holding a brace of dessert silverware, 1 cup of liquid.

Large measures 7" tall with a 4" diameter and a generous 2.5" mouth, weighing approximately 1lb. Medium measures 5" tall with 3.5" diameter and a generous 2.5" mouth, weighing .75 lb. Small measures 3.5" tall with 3" diameter and a 2" mouth and weighs 9 ounces.

Imperfections in the glazing, including splashes and random dots, are the nature of ceramics and are to be expected and enjoyed as proof of the handmade process.

NOTE - Large Lavender is a lighter shade of lavender compared to the medium and small.
