Wrought Iron Horseshoe Crabs

A piece of the beach life, preserved in iron forever.

A classic of any New England beach visit, this horseshoe crab is carefully hand forged, shaped and finished to make this magnificent sculptural object.

Keep it on your coffee table as a piece of beach life frozen in iron, or let it live in your garden and watch it slowly oxidize as it interacts with the air. I set both sizes up for wall hanging using strong plasticized wire (see final pic) - you may remember the large crab hanging on a beam at the front desk of the store, which has Christmas lights stuck inside.

We also have a custom made door knocker version (see In The Garden) which has now been on our front door for 3 winters and still looks great, and a custom made nightlight version (see Lighting). 

Small crab measures 6.5" long by 3.5" wide and 1.25" high and weighs 4 ounces.

Large crab measures 14" long by 7" wide and 2" high and weighs 1.75 lbs.
