Ceramic Honey Pot Serving Set
Sliced apple with honey is one of the most beloved elements of the Jewish New Year celebration (in my parents house, the honey set stays on the table until after Sukkot, almost a month later and it gets put on challah, especially with cream cheese. Try it. You can thank me later).
This honey pot is decorated with a Jerusalem city motif and the word "Dvash", Hebrew for honey. The matching plate says "Borey Pree Ha-Etz" Hebrew for "Created the fruit of the tree", which is the key portion of the correct blessing for eating an apple.
Set comes complete with wooden honey spoon and a lid with a cut out for the spoon.
Pot is 3.25" high and wide. plate is 7 5/8" in diameter with a 1" lip, spoon is 6" long. Set weighs 12 ounces.
