Fair Trade Wool Knit Texting Mittens
Classic winter mittens for the 21st Century.
New Zealand wool is handknit in a classic heavy cable stitch with bold color panels to create these mittens, which appear old school until you notice the perfectly placed holes for your index finger and thumbs to slip through as needed to send that all important text, "WHERE RU?". A thick fleece liner inside to give that oh-so-soft feel against your skin and even more warmth against winter wind.
Made by a Fair Trade workshop in Nepal to ensure fair wages are paid, no prison, child or slave labor is involved, and a safe and healthy working environment is maintained. Imported by a member of the Fair Trade Federation.
Measures approximately 9" long by 4" wide. To figure out sizing, measure the circumference of your dominant hand at the widest point (at the knuckles, excluding your thumb) to get your glove size. My measurement is 8", which corresponds to a biggish Men's Small, if that makes sense. These mittens fit me perfectly even though my fingers are quite long - they still cover my wrist up to my watch. I was told they will fit most women and some men.
