"Miles To Go" Fair Trade Cruelty Free Leather Journal
A keepsake companion for life.
Handcrafted in Rajasthan in Northern India, where cows are sacred so they live out their full natural lives in safety and security. Once the cows have died, the leather is treated with vegetable dyes to minimize environmental damage, embossed with a map of the world and the phrase "miles to go" from Robert Frost's famous poem.
Within the leather cover is a detachable unlined journal made of 100% recycled cotton rag content. The paper is clean, bright and slightly textured, excellent for either drawing or writing.
Purchased through a Fair Trade Federation member, purchasing this product contributes to social welfare programs such as clean water, nutrition, healthcare, women's empowerment projects and supports traditional handicraft skills within indigenous communities.
Journal measures 5" by 7" by .75" and weighs 6 ounces.
NOTE - JOURNALS ARE NOW THE DARKER RED/BROWN OXBLOOD COLOR as shown in primary image. Secondary images are a discontinued color but show backside pattern and how the journal fits into the cover correctly.
