Reclaimed Wood Dolphins
Offered for the first time ever on Cape Cod!
Mark Cahill was a corporate worker for his professional career until his retirement in recent years. He has spent virtually all of his summers since birth on Cape Cod, most recently in East Dennis, with winters in the Finger Lakes region of NY since retirement.
During the early days of COVID he began exploring woodworking, scavenging driftwood and reclaiming wood pieces from old barns, sheds, fields, and most especially from beaches. Saltwater, sun and time ages wood beautifully, with the knots and shapes telling him what he should make of each piece.
Piece measures 22.5" long by 7.25" at the tallest point by 3/4" thick, weighs 1.2 lb. Hang by placing two brads (thin nails without heads) under the dolphins wherever works best for you. Signed and dated on the back.
May be displayed outside but expect some bleaching and fading over time.
Handmade in East Dennis and NY
