Mark Cahill was a corporate worker for his professional career until his retirement in recent years. He has spent virtually all of his summers since birth on Cape Cod, most recently in East Dennis, with winters in the Finger Lakes region of NY since retirement.
During the early days of COVID he began exploring woodworking, scavenging driftwood and reclaiming wood pieces from old barns, sheds, fields, and most especially from beaches. Saltwater, sun and time ages wood beautifully, with the knots and shapes telling him what he should make of each piece.
Piece measures 20.75" tall by 8" at the widest point by 1.5" thick, weighs 1.75 lbs. and has a secure wire on the back for easy hanging. Signed and dated on the back.
May be displayed outside but expect some bleaching and fading over time.
