Upcycled Machine Tag Cuffs
20th Century industrial debris as wearable art.
Old brass instruction or manufacturing ID tags from various industrial machinery, nautical equipment and various industrial ephemera are given new life when polished up and riveted onto recycled silver plate serving trays with copper findings. The ruler cuffs are the original aluminum carpenter's ruler turned into a cuff, with rounded edges and the original brass trim on one end.
No two are ever alike, and cost is directly proportional to rarity of the tag. The text, out of original context, can sometimes lead to hilariously funny, rather cheeky meanings.
Cuffs measure between 7/8" and 1" in width except for "Lubrication" which measures 1.5" in width and is sized large, and the rulers which are 9/16" in width.
Sizing is mostly for a medium sized wrist unless otherwise noted, but these cuffs are completely flexible - just squeeze a bit or pull to shape as needed. They should fit even the biggest wrist with shaping, and any small or medium should most smaller wrists easily with a quick squeeze.
