Helltown Merman Baseball Shirt
The quintessential Provincetown baseball style shirt (with 3/4 length sleeves) - designed and made locally, exclusive to Arcadia.
A furry, muscled merman rises from the bay, covered in tattoos of Provincetown lore.
Helltown refers to an old fisherman's settlement out at Herring Cove beach aka Boy Beach and Hatches Harbor (where the breakwater is now), which was beyond the last Puritan parish church in Truro. It was therefore the scene of much carousing, drinking, partying and carrying on when the fishermen were not hard at work, and condemned as a helltown by the righteous of Truro parish.
Not much has changed, thankfully!
In small and XL, we have American Apparel 50/50 cotton poly blend for long lasting wear with zero shrinkage, with a charcoal heather body with black arms.
We are shifting to American made Royal Apparel because American Apparel is no longer made in the US. Extra Small, Medium and XXL are now only available in Royal Apparel triblend (50% polyester 37% cotton 13% rayon) the same as most of our tee shirts, with a charcoal sleeve and grey body (see pics). Once we sell out of American Apparel, we will only offer Royal Apparel shirts.
American Apparel - Small measures 28" long by 17.5" wide, Large is 31" long by 21.5" wide, Extra Large is 32" long by 24" wide.
Royal Apparel - Small measures 27" long by 18" wide, Medium measures 28" long by 19.5" wide, Large is 29" long by 21.5" wide, XX Large is 32" long by 26" wide.
