Handmade Rainbow Broom
Sometimes old school is the ONLY way to go. But when in doubt, GO RAINBOW!
Handmade by a master artisan from Kentucky, these are truly functional works of art.
Using centuries old hand weaving techniques, these traditional brooms are made of soft broom corn, which is a type of sorghum and has a superb ability to lift dust, dirt and sand out of any crevice in a light stroke. The dyes are colorfast. The handle is American Poplar wood, locally sourced and sustainably harvested in Kentucky.
Measures 58" long by 10" wide at the sweep, woven with durable color cording and stainless steel wire, with integrated leather loop on the solid poplar for display/storage. For best long term use, dip the edge into water briefly and then hang to dry every 6 months. Store in a cool, dry place and avoid leaving in a routinely wet area such as a porch. A well maintained broom can last decades or more.
